Cruise is a hybrid art space centering a Third Coast perspective – connecting Minneapolis to other cities along the Mississippi River and the Great Lakes.
The mark centers on the 45th parallel; the latitude that runs through Minneapolis, where the gallery sits. Placed in a circle, that line reads as a horizon and anchors the mark to this place. The logo uses a 1:1 square grid, which also structures supporting text like exhibition titles, dates, and locations.
